HYPERBOLE ERODES CREDIBILITY
In serious debates, nothing demolishes credibility as readily as inconsistency and exaggeration.

LYSENKOISM AND JAMES HANSEN
Professor Bob Carter published this article at Quadrant following, first an invitation by the ABC's The Drum for an article to offer an alternate view to Clive Hamilton's five part series, and their subsequent rejection of his offering.
"On June 23, 1988, a young and previously unknown NASA computer modeller, James Hansen, appeared before a United States Congressional hearing on climate change. Dr Tim Ball from the International Climate Science Coalition writing at the website Canada Free Press highlights the many variables in temperature reporting.
"How much do calculations of global temperatures represent the real temperature of the Earth? Every day new stories appear about temperature records with errors or deliberate omissions. An important part of the debate is something called the Urban Heat Island Effect (UHIE)."
