ITS TIME TO TELL YOUR MPs - NO CARBON TAX!

We all helped to defeat the Emissions Trading Scheme legislation in 2009 by direct contact with our members of parliament.  A huge deluge of emails and calls to MP’s changed political thinking and the tide of events.  The ‘inevitable’ ETS was consigned to the political dustbin.

It’s time to take action again.  Tell members of parliament a carbon tax:
1.    Will not change global temperatures;
2.    Will force Australian jobs overseas; and
3.    Will make Australians poorer; while it is richer, not poorer nations that are better able to protect their natural environment.

NOBEL PHYSICIST RESIGNS FROM AMERICAN PHYICAL SOCIETY

Nobel prize winner for physics in 1973 Dr. Ivar Giaever resigned as a Fellow from the American Physical Society (APS) on September 13, 2011 in disgust over the group's promotion of man-made global warming fears.

Climate Depot has obtained the exclusive email Giaever sent titled "I resign from APS" to APS Executive Officer Kate Kirby to announce his formal resignation.

TEMPERATURE NOT A STATE SECRET

Neil Henderson writing in the NZ Gisborne Herald sheds further light on the ongoing saga of the claimed official NZ temperature record and the data contained in the actual records.

"NIWA provides climate change advice to central and local government. Central to this is the New Zealand Temperature Record. This shows a warming trend of 0.91 degrees per century.  But the thing that appeared “interesting” was that the raw data showed a warming of only 0.3 degrees."
